Who We Are?
How it Started
From mates at school about to leave for different universities we always had the plan to travel the world. The idea was to wait after completing our courses but we couldn’t seem to wait. After our first year we saved enough money to go inter-railing in Eastern and Central Europe. This being our first travel experience at 18 and 19 years old, we learnt a lot about travel during that time. Most importantly though we both learnt how much we loved it. Even though the name of our trip was ‘interbeer’ (which gives away the nature of that particular trip) the feeling of moving from place to place with our homes on our backs was far too contagious for us to stop.

Travelling when we shoudn't have
From that trip we travelled all through our second and third year at university, mainly visiting more of Eastern Europe. Whether that was weeks away or just skipping Friday and Monday lectures to explore a city over a weekend.
2020 came and so did ‘rony rona’ that halted our travel and left us both scratching. However the lockdowns and lack of spending on travel allowed us not only to actually complete our degrees but save a substantial amount of money to set us up for our ‘around the world’ trip.
Not looked back since
Leaving in September 2021 we had no real expectations but we knew we wanted to travel for as long as we could. 12 months was the goal. Almost coming up to 3 years its safe to say we have done more than both of us could ever have imagined.
We have now travelled a total of 57 countries since that time and have travelled the distance to the moon. Not our finest carbon footprint moment but it’s meant we have experienced all different types of cultures and met some incredible people. Not to forget trying some spectacular international beer.
We still continue to travel today and even though we have gained a lot of travel knowledge, we are still learning new tricks of the trade which we hope to keep sharing with you. The button below will take you to our travel blog. This will give you our insight and advice on the places we have been. Including where to stay, where to visit, where to eat and of course where to drink.
If you are interested in how we have kept travelling for this long, below is our ‘how we do it’ page. Here we explain all our online tools we use to create income on the go. Also we give some basic travel tips to budget and lower your costs, especially when you just start out!

UPCOMING PLANS
So without setting out to, we have managed to see 5 out of the 7 Wonders of the World. As we keep travelling and exploring it has become a goal of ours to finish the list. Our 7 wonders include the same 7 that were part of the first season of the ‘An Idiot Abroad’ tv series. We know you’re thinking how fitting that series title might be for our particular travel experience and anyone who has been fortunate to meet us can vouch for it. But beating the odds we are still alive.
Anyways we have ticked off: Chichen Itza in Mexico, Lost City of Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Great Wall of China and The Taj Mahal in India. Machu Picchu in Peru and The Pyramids in Egypt are left and part of our plans moving forward.
